David M. Barash, M.D. is Aethlon Capital's expert at evaluating healthcare companies and their market potential. He is the founder of Concord Healthcare Strategies, LLC, a company that meets the research needs of investors in healthcare, and the strategic, marketing, and management needs of development stage healthcare companies. He is formerly the Executive Vice President and Medical Director of Access CardioSystems, a rapidly-growing medical device company, based in Concord, Massachusetts, manufacturing innovative automatic external defibrillators. Dr. Barash is a member of the Board of Directors of a biotechnology company in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has served as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of an Internet-based medical records and benefits management company. As well, he was the Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of a publicly traded company that has developed technology for bedside point-of-care laboratory testing. Dr. Barash is a former Regional Vice President of Medical Affairs for a national physician management company and a former department chair of emergency medicine. In these roles, he was responsible for the operation of profitable emergency department practices with over $30 million in revenue. He received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Cornell University and his medical degree with Honors from the Cornell University Medical College. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of the American College of Physician Executives, the MIT Enterprise Forum, and the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council. Dr. Barash is a practicing emergency physician in Massachusetts. |
