    n the strategy for the company's core data storage products business an=
    d its adjacent growth opportunities. The resulting investments in new t=
    echnology, product development and an optical media joint venture succe=
    ssfully drove accelerated growth at Imation. Mr. Phillips also managed =
    venture capital investments that returned over 6X on Imation's investme=
    nts.<br><br>=0D=0A=0D=0APrior to Imation, during 29 years at 3M, Mr. Phillips led several product l=
    ine business operations, served as Marketing Operations Manager in the =
    Data Storage Products, marketed new products for the commercial office =
